Last week the Industeel steel mill team proudly loaded this “special” ingot: we have now shipped totally 500 000T of ingots.
In 2004 we started our ingots business segment oriented to forging and ring rolling companies for renewable energy mainly.
We would like to thank all our customers everywhere in the world for this partnership!
Industeel is producing quarto plates in our three mills in Belgium and France and our dimensional program is the largest in the world. Our steel is melted via the electric arc furnace route, using scrap and decarbonized electricity, allowing a substantial reduction of the CO2 footprint per tonne of steel.
