In 2021, Industeel has been awarded for the Shah Gas project , consisting in the delivery of more than 3000T of clad plates API5L X65 + 825.
The clad sheets were used to build a new onshore pipeline of approximately 13km through Liwa desert dunes in Abu Dhabi on the border with Saudi Arabia.
This new pipeline will allow to increase the gas treatment capacity and the target of ADNOC Group is to ensure self-reliance in gas for UAE.
The X65 base castings has been carried out in continuous casting in Charleroi, while the 825 has been casted as ingots at Le Creusot plant.
The entire range of clad sheet manufacturing has been carried out on Le Creusot site.
The complete customer chain, end user ADNOC, EPC Saipem pipe production Inoxtech and GIEMINOX TECTUBI RACCORDI S.R.L. (Allied International Group ) expressed their satisfaction with our high level of quality and performances in deliveries.
