5.2 million investment for descaling

Industeel will launch an investment of 5.2 million euros for the improvement of its descaling equipment. The investment consists of the replacement of the pumping station, high pressure pipes and primary and secondary descaling ramps. The secondary descaling will thus pass from 150 bar to 250 bar, at the same level as the current primary descaling. It will also allow longer descaling which will enable to laminate longer products. Work will begin in April 2017 for a two-stage operation; the primary in January 2018 and the secondary in August 2018.
